Effective Date: September 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Audio & Video Cutter (referred to as "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App.
The App is owned and developed by Akshay Sarapure and is published on Google Play under the developer name NUTRINO.
The App is designed primarily as an on-device audio and video editing tool. Your media files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers for editing, storage, analysis, or conversion.
1. What Information Does the App Handle?
The App handles two broad categories of information:
- Information processed locally: media files, recordings, editing history, file information, and App settings required to provide the editing features.
- Information processed by integrated services: limited technical, advertising, usage, diagnostic, notification, and subscription-related information.
We do not operate a separate backend that receives your audio or video files for processing. Media editing is performed locally on your device.
2. Your Audio, Video, and Recordings
The App may access audio and video files that you choose to edit. It may also access your microphone when you explicitly start the audio recording feature.
Media remains on your device
- Audio files are processed locally.
- Video files are processed locally.
- Microphone recordings are saved locally.
- Edited output files are saved locally on your device.
- Media files are not uploaded to our servers.
- We do not use your media files for advertising, analytics, or AI training.
Depending on the feature and Android version, exported files may be saved in public device locations such as Downloads, Music, or Movies. Files saved in these locations may remain on your device even after the App is uninstalled. You are responsible for managing or deleting those files through your device's file manager or gallery application.
3. Local Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores limited information locally to provide features and remember your preferences. This local information is not uploaded by the App to our own server.
- Recent editing history: input and output file URIs or paths, file names, duration, file size, and file type.
- App preferences: settings and preferences required for the App.
- Usage information: limited local counters or dates used by the App.
- Subscription cache: locally cached information about whether Pro features are available.
This information is stored locally on your device. Clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App removes the App's local data. This does not automatically delete media files that you previously exported to public device storage.
4. Information Used by Third-Party Services
Some features require third-party services. These services may independently collect or process information according to their own privacy policies and technical documentation. The following describes the services integrated into the App and their general purposes.
| Service | Purpose | Examples of information that may be processed |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Advertising and advertising measurement | IP address, general location derived from IP, app/product interactions, diagnostic information, advertising/device identifiers, ad impressions, clicks, and video/ad interactions. |
| Firebase Analytics | Understanding App usage and feature performance | App events, screen views, feature interactions, installation identifiers, device/app information, and related analytics information. |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reporting and debugging | Crash reports, stack traces, device and operating-system information, App state, diagnostic information, and developer-defined crash logs or keys. |
| Firebase Performance | Monitoring App and network performance | Performance metrics, timing information, device/app information, and technical diagnostics related to App performance. |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) | Push notification delivery | Firebase installation information and notification delivery tokens required to deliver push notifications. |
| RevenueCat | Subscription and entitlement management | Anonymous App User ID, subscription status, transaction/purchase information, Google Play purchase-related information, and technical information required for subscription management. |
| Google Play Billing | Processing in-app purchases | Purchase and subscription information required by Google Play to process and manage purchases. |
We do not create user accounts in the App, and we do not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, or similar identifying information inside the App.
5. Google AdMob and Advertising
The App displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements using Google AdMob.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share certain information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and related purposes. Depending on Google's current SDK behavior and your device settings, this may include:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- Advertising ID or other device/app identifiers;
- Device and operating-system information;
- App and ad interactions, such as launches, taps, impressions, and video views;
- Diagnostic and performance information.
We do not receive your private audio or video files through AdMob.
Google provides controls for advertising identifiers and advertising personalization through Android and Google account settings. Available controls may vary by device, region, account, and Android version.
More information: Google Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure .
6. Firebase Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how people use the App and to improve features, stability, and usability.
Analytics events may include information such as screen views, feature usage, successful or unsuccessful operations, and general App interaction events.
The App's Analytics implementation does not intentionally send your audio/video content, microphone recordings, file contents, file names, or file paths as Analytics event parameters.
Firebase may also process installation identifiers and device/app information as part of providing Analytics and Firebase services.
More information: Firebase Privacy and Security .
7. Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and technical problems so that we can improve the stability of the App.
Crash reports can include technical information such as:
- Stack traces and exception information;
- Device model and operating-system information;
- App version and App state;
- Diagnostic information;
- Crash-related logs and developer-defined diagnostic keys.
We do not intentionally send your audio/video content or microphone recordings to Crashlytics. We also do not intentionally include media file names or file paths in Crashlytics diagnostic events.
More information: Firebase Crashlytics documentation .
8. Firebase Performance Monitoring
The App uses Firebase Performance Monitoring to understand technical performance, such as startup behavior, network performance, and other performance characteristics of the App.
Performance Monitoring may process technical information and performance metrics associated with the App and device. It is not used to upload or analyze your audio, video, or microphone recordings.
9. Firebase Cloud Messaging (Push Notifications)
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications.
FCM uses registration information and tokens associated with the App installation to route notifications to your device. The App does not use FCM to upload your personal media files.
Push notification availability and content may change as App features change. You can disable notifications at any time through your Android notification settings.
More information: Firebase Cloud Messaging documentation .
10. RevenueCat and Google Play Billing
The App offers optional Pro features. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and subscription information is managed with RevenueCat.
Pro features
- Removal of advertisements;
- Unlimited access to the App's trial/usage features that are included with Pro.
The App does not provide its own payment form and does not ask you to enter card numbers, bank account details, or payment credentials directly into the App. Payment processing is handled by Google Play.
RevenueCat may process an automatically generated anonymous/random App User ID, technical information, subscription status, and transaction or purchase information required to manage entitlements. We do not configure RevenueCat to receive your name, email address, phone number, or custom personal attributes.
Purchase history and subscription information may be retained by Google Play and/or RevenueCat according to their respective policies and operational requirements. Clearing the App's local storage does not necessarily delete purchase records held by Google Play or RevenueCat.
More information: RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy .
11. Permissions
The App requests permissions only for features that require access to device resources. Android may show permission prompts only when the relevant permission is needed.
Media access
- READ_MEDIA_AUDIO: Allows the App to access audio files you choose to edit on supported Android versions.
- READ_MEDIA_VIDEO: Allows the App to access video files you choose to edit on supported Android versions.

- RECORD_AUDIO: Allows the App to record audio when you explicitly start the recording feature. Recordings are saved locally.
Ringtone and system settings
- WRITE_SETTINGS: Allows the App, when authorized by Android, to change applicable system sound settings for features such as setting an edited audio file as a ringtone or alarm tone.
Notifications
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Allows the App to display notifications on supported Android versions.
12. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
The App does not require an account and does not ask you to provide:
- Your name;
- Your email address inside the App;
- Your phone number;
- Your home or physical address;
- Your contacts;
- Your GPS location;
- Your login credentials;
- Your payment card or bank account details directly in the App;
- The contents of your audio or video files;
- Your microphone recordings on our servers.
This does not mean that third-party service providers never process technical identifiers, IP addresses, purchase information, or other data. Those types of processing are described in the relevant third-party service sections above.
13. How the App Uses Information
Information handled by the App and its integrated services is used for purposes such as:
- Providing audio and video editing functionality;
- Saving your local editing history and preferences;
- Creating and saving ringtones or other exported media;
- Providing advertisements;
- Measuring advertising performance and preventing advertising fraud;
- Understanding feature usage and improving the App;
- Detecting, diagnosing, and fixing crashes and technical problems;
- Monitoring App performance;

We share or permit access to information with service providers only as needed for the services described in this policy.
- Google AdMob: advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention.
- Google Firebase: Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, and FCM.
- RevenueCat: subscription and entitlement management.
- Google Play: purchase and subscription processing.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a valid request from a competent authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of the App and its users.
We do not sell your private audio/video content or microphone recordings.
16. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. Media processing is performed locally, which means your media files do not need to be uploaded to a server for the App's core editing functions.
Data transmitted by integrated services may be protected in transit using security mechanisms provided by those services, such as HTTPS/TLS where applicable.
No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, while we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information processed by third-party services.
17. Data Retention
Local App data
Local editing history, settings, usage information, and cached subscription information remain on your device until they are deleted by the App, cleared through Android settings, or removed when the App is uninstalled, subject to Android/device behavior.
Exported media
Media exported to public device storage is controlled by you and may remain after the App is uninstalled. Delete those files using your device's file manager or gallery.
Third-party services
Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, and Google Play may retain information according to their own policies, technical requirements, legal obligations, and service-specific retention practices. We do not control their independent retention periods.
18. Your Choices and Controls
Permissions
You can revoke applicable Android permissions through your device settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
Notifications
You can disable notifications through Android notification settings.
Advertising controls
Android and Google provide controls for advertising identifiers and advertising personalization. The available options depend on your device, Android version, Google account, and region.
Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play's subscription controls. Cancelling a subscription does not necessarily delete past purchase records maintained by Google Play or RevenueCat.
Local App data
You can clear the App's local data through Android settings. This removes App-local information but does not automatically remove files that you exported to public storage or purchase records maintained by third-party services.
Delete exported media
Use your device's file manager or gallery to delete audio/video files that you created or exported with the App.
19. Privacy Rights and Requests
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to you, you may have rights relating to personal data, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, or other rights provided by applicable law.
Because the App does not maintain a user account and does not intentionally collect your name, email, phone number, or media content on our own servers, our ability to identify a particular person or delete information held directly by us may be limited.
Information held by Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, or Google Play may need to be managed directly through the relevant provider, subject to that provider's policies and applicable law.

We do not knowingly request or collect a child's name, email address, phone number, account credentials, or similar personal information through the App.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at feedbacknutrino@gmail.com so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action where required by law.
21. International Users
The App is available internationally. Information processed by Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, or other service providers may be processed in countries other than the country in which you live.
Where applicable, those providers may use contractual, technical, or other safeguards for international data transfers as required by applicable law.
